Iran marks National Day of Shiraz

Iran marks the National Day of Shiraz, one of the largest cities in Iran. 

Shiraz is the provincial capital of Fars in the country's southwest.

The 15th day of Ordibehesht, the second month of the Persian calendar, which falls on May 5 this year, is designated the National Day of Shiraz.

Shiraz always attracts many tourists due to its historical, cultural, religious and natural attractions.

Shiraz is known as the cultural capital of Iran.
